Our Philosophy

Yoga teacher Jacqueline Annabelle Purnell runs Yoga classes, workshops and apprenticeship teacher training at Richmond Yogashala, as well as overseasYoga retreats where she combines her love of Sub-Aqua diving with Yoga. Based in Richmond upon Thames, Jacqueline has taught and practised Yoga world-wide and on Sky TV.

Using a combination of postures and breathing techniques working with the causal, subtle and physical bodies to remove the energy blocks which restrict movement. The practice is ideal for dealing with stress and developing and maintaining fitness, good health and happiness.

Jacqueline has recently been filming in Ibiza for the ITV1 forthcoming series Wish you were still here with Judith Chalmers' son Mark Durden-Smith. Jacqueline will bring the theme of 'The Garden of Light' interwoven through a flowing yoga class that she has created especially for The Yoga Show. The session is suitable for all yoga show visitors and will focus on the inner light of the body.

Jacqueline stars in the worldwide best selling book 10 Minute Yoga and the DVD Beyond Dynamic Yoga: The Power of Ashtanga.
